Canadian Home Builders Ltd was established tin 1999. The company registered with the Contractors Association Cyprus and has been building an average of 10 houses per year. Akis Ioannou, the chairman of the company has a diploma in architecture and was employed in Canada as project manager on several large housing projects before moving back in Cyprus in 1991. Since then Akis has  been involved in the Cypriot construction industry and is recognized as the leading authority on timber-framed homes.
